This Christmas, discover a more beautiful and sustainable way to wrap your gifts.In this three-hour hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to transform plain and reclaimed fabric using natural dyes and simple decorative techniques, creating your own reusable gift wrapping.We'll explore the beautiful Japanese tradition of furoshiki - wrapping gifts in fabric rather than paper - as well as creating a simple fabric gift bag that can be used again and again.You'll experiment with colour and pattern using natural dyeing techniques before creating your own reusable wrapping piece to take home, ready for Christmas.With only four places available, this is a relaxed, intimate workshop where there's plenty of time to experiment, chat and enjoy the process. Mince pies and hot drinks included!

We offer sewing machine hire at £7 per hour, providing access to machines in a relaxed and supportive environment. This service is ideal for those who already have basic sewing skills but don’t have access to their own machine, as well as for anyone looking to build confidence through hands-on practice. Machines are set up and ready to use when you arrive, with threads and bobbins provided. You’re also welcome to bring your own materials and tools if you prefer. Take the time, space, and resources you need to extend the life of your clothes — or create something entirely new.

Pricing varies depending on the complexity of the garment and the design required, and will be discussed during the consultation. A meaningful way to preserve memories, while giving cherished textiles a new life.
