Jay Wing is a hand-stitched textile composition inspired by the brilliant blue flash of a jay along the Taff Trail - there for just a moment, then gone.

Repurposed linen, cotton and wool have been brought together through patchwork, appliqué and hand stitching, with layers of naturally dyed and reclaimed cloth creating a unique, tactile landscape.

Each piece of fabric carries a former life whose fragments have been reimagined into something new.
