Layers of the TaffÂ
What happens when nothing is wasted?

Layers of the Taff is a collection of unique, tactile wall hangings created from the remnants of the making process - leftover dye samples, experimental prints, pieces of stitching and fragments of cloth that might otherwise have been discarded.

These fragments have been brought together through patchwork and appliqué, building layer upon layer of colour, texture and memory. The result is a richly tactile textile work that holds a record of the processes, experiments and discoveries behind Threads of the Taff.

There are currently five individual colourways, each completely unique.

The pieces are intentionally flexible in both form and scale. Once unstitched from their temporary rolled form, they can be displayed at their original size or reconfigured to suit your space, made smaller or larger, rearranged, or even transformed into a quilt.

Each piece is made to order and can be adapted to your requirements. Prices start from £200.

A celebration of the things that remain: fragments gathered together to create something new, carrying the layered history of the making process within every stitch.
